Dr. Mohamad Noorman Masrek is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Information Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia. He received his MSc in Information Management from UiTM and Phd in Information Technology from Islamic International University Malaysia (IIUM). His research interests are in the area of social informatics and information management. He has published hundreds of articles on various topics on his areas of expertise. He is also very active in consultation works with many government good agencies and private companies in Malaysia. His research work has also earned him many awards and recognitions.

Prof. Dr. Khalid Mahmood Conference Chair
Prof. Dr Khalid Mahmood is an ambitious, energetic and renowned personality of library and information science (LIS) in Pakistan and overseas. He has completed his HEC sponsored post-doctoral research at Department of Information Studies, Graduate School of Education & Information Studies (GSE&IS), University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), USA (2010-2011). He did his masters (1989) and PhD (2004) in LIS from the University of the Punjab, Lahore. He also completed masters in Islamic Studies and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the same university. He completed Postgraduate Diploma in Library Management from Haagse Hogeschool, Netherlands in 1996.
